
The Kudos International Network Global Conference 2026 brought together member firms from across the world for three inspiring days in Athens, Greece, centred on professional excellence, innovation, collaboration and friendship.
Hosted at the Divani Caravel Hotel from 11 to 13 May 2026, the conference welcomed partners and staff from across the global network to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the accounting and audit profession.
A warm Greek welcome
The conference commenced with a cocktail reception hosted by CPA Kudos Greece at their Athens offices. Delegates were warmly welcomed by the local team, who showcased the impressive work being undertaken by their firm while creating the perfect environment for networking and reconnecting with colleagues from around the world.
The evening set the tone for a conference defined by meaningful conversations, international collaboration, and the strong relationships that continue to underpin the success of the Kudos International Network.
Exploring the future of the profession
The first full conference day delivered a programme packed with thought-provoking presentations and engaging discussions.
Dan Boyles of Hello AI Collective opened proceedings with an interactive session exploring the growing role of artificial intelligence within the auditing and accountancy profession. His presentation generated significant discussion among delegates, who shared perspectives on how firms can embrace emerging technologies while maintaining the highest professional standards.
This was followed by an insightful keynote presentation from Panagiotis Giannopoulos and Nikolaos Papadimos of the Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board, who provided valuable updates on audit regulation and the evolving regulatory landscape facing firms around the world.
The afternoon featured a highly engaging session from Brett Kelly of Kelly+Partners Accountants, who shared his perspectives on what distinguishes successful accounting and audit firms. Delegates benefited from practical insights and real-world experience that can be applied within firms of all sizes.
Celebrating excellence
Athens provided more than just a backdrop for professional development. Delegates enjoyed a guided tour of the Acropolis and the Parthenon, experiencing one of the world's most iconic historical sites while continuing conversations and building relationships in an informal setting.
The evening concluded with the Firm of the Year Awards, held at the spectacular JuJu Rooftop Restaurant overlooking Athens. Kudos was proud to recognise two exceptional member firms for their outstanding contributions to the network.
Firm of the Year 2025
El Besher, Khalil & Partners (Kudos Egypt), represented by Hossam El Besher, received recognition for the technical excellence of their work and for being outstanding ambassadors for the Kudos International Network.
Firm of the Year 2026
Savvides Audit Ltd, represented by Christos Savvides, was recognised for the consistently exceptional quality of its work and for its enduring contribution as one of the founding firms of Kudos International.
These awards highlighted the professionalism, commitment and collaborative spirit that continue to drive the network forward.
Innovation, technology and cross-border collaboration
The final day of the conference focused on some of the key opportunities shaping the future of international practice.
Delegates heard from Svenja Kerber-Strasser of Auditi, who provided valuable insights into developments in audit technology and how innovative solutions are helping firms deliver greater efficiency and quality.
A particularly engaging discussion on cross-border activity followed, featuring contributions from Hossam El Besher (Kudos Egypt), Diego Valeggiani (ILYG+) and Diego Moreira (Moreira Auditores Oficial). The session explored how member firms are creating opportunities through international collaboration and demonstrated the unique value of belonging to a truly global network.
Members were also introduced to Paul Horowitz of KellyPartners+FRS in Florida, who shared insights into his firm and its experiences as part of the wider Kelly+Partners group.
A highly anticipated session from Ash Loudon of Silverless provided delegates with an introduction to Kudos Assure, offering an exciting glimpse into the future of the network's audit technology platform and its potential to support member firms worldwide.
The conference concluded with a strategic update from Kudos International Network Director Alun Morgan, outlining the network's ongoing development and future ambitions.
